Got to suffer these temps for a few days then it's back to above freezing next week. Expecting a big rain next Wednesday.

My workplace about a 30 min drive south barely got any snow from this past weekend. Can still see grass in some places.

We just got a few inches, nothing like how some are getting hammered. We went 700 days without a measurable snow fall. I really shouldn't complain, but I will anyway. I hate this is shit.

Right now it says we're supposed to get a little over 2 inches but it'll probably be less by the time it actually comes.

Last of the single digits tonight, then a couple days in the 20's, then back to cold for a few days. The 10-day forecast shows some 40F days coming. That'll feel balmy after this cold.

Today was a little rainy and warm...like 78.

YESTERDAY, however, was brutal! 3 tornado warnings, 2 tornadoes touched down within 2 miles of where I live and there was a lightning strike close enough to fry the light in the hallway off the kitchen!

Our second ice storm/freezing rain event was fairly light -- like the first one. We kept electrical power through both.

Now it's above freezing and raining, though all horizontal surfaces are still covered in ice. But that should thaw pretty quickly, I think.
