Looks the same to me. Could also be them using the standards lights instead of the "executive package" lights.

Heh i love how they do indeed test the cars for winter but the worst part is a lot of us who lives in the northned parts of the world rarely gets to se this kind of snow landscapes it is more like the image below and a lot more salt
Bmw should maybe try these cars where the winter conditions are more real and the use of salt is so extensive that the cars ages 2-3 years faster then the average car who drives only in where it is snow like on the pictures. For example where i live pretty much in the middle of Sweden we have very few days with snow conditions like that its mostly -2c to +4c during winters and constant rain and salt on the roads so it won't freeze during nights. So a car pretty much ages around 2-3 years faster when driven here compared to other parts of the country. I hate the use of salt on the roads....

Here's the link to the video if anyone wants to see. Looks like a 230i with circle exhaust tips and wheels.

I wonder what 6MT swaps will look like on these cars. Haven't seen too much regarding auto->MT swaps since the e46. It's very well documented on the earlier 3-series generations but cars made in the last 15 years or so have very limited info. Maybe the effort required isn't worth it, or the supply of MT cars hasn't dried up to the point that swapping an auto car makes more sense than buying a manual one. But if we're faced with a new gen that doesn't come in a manual, and presumably the last gen's 6MT will bolt up to the engine; you'd basically need a custom length driveshaft (or one from the M car), clutch pedal and shifter setup, and whatever software wizardry to keep the ECU/TCU/Chassis computer happy and you could have a bespoke 6MT G42 for what, $5k or so on top of the purchase price? Would there be a market for this if the M2 is ~$10k over the 240, who knows...maybe BMW is simply forcing the MT (I'm dropping the 6 here because we could really use a 7MT in this day and age) crowd to the M cars |

Thanks for posting. Love the overall shape of the car. It does look like a decently sized coupe.

We all know how the interior if going to look like and it's a huge upgrade for the model. As for the exterior design, I can only hope they are not going to ruin the best looking BMW model out of all F series.
I do hope the base models will be more dynamic, and by base I mean up to M235i which it's far back from the M2. |

Looking very promising. The overall exterior shape and proportions look really good. Can't wait for this, anyone know a launch date yet?
