As the saying goes that a Porsche is only as good as the sum of it's parts Komatsu will work in a different way but it will all depend on the technical if Haas can move up the ladder and with all the wild speculation of Haas maybe being sold off also coming into the picture.

I'm liking this 15 more with the Eastern input, should keep RUS and LEW warm at least on the colder tracks

A positive view of the maturing formula...an even tighter grid would be wonderful.

“I think if you look at last year you see from the start of the season to the end of the season, although Red Bull's dominance was near complete and they didn't look vulnerable even to the last race of the year, if you look at the bigger picture, this is a grid that is gradually compressing.” - - - James Allison

Haas tribulations aside Eddie Jordan has mentioned that Charlie is the only person that can challenge MAX brushing aside Alonso and Hamilton simply because of their ages.
That can't make Merc feel happy after signing a multi year extension for HAM for big money..ain't that a shame

This ignores that fact that RB brought very few upgrades during the year, stopped developing mid-season, likey had the engine turned down, and still had pace in hand, yet still won many of the 2nd half races by 15-30 seconds.

At this point I'm ready for the testing and races to begin. Too much talk, rumors, and flat out gossip...

I think Allison's point was that although the field isn't competitive with RBR, the other nine teams are coming closer to each other. Last year was some of the best and most exciting battles in years and those teams are likely to be even more competitive with each other this season. Looking forward to more good competition between them.

Fair point. I do agree that the racing when considered as a whole, up and down the grid, 2022 and 2023 have been the two most competitive seasons F1 has ever seen. A lot of people don't like to admit that because it just proves further how good Max is, especially when you consider they didn't have a car that was dominant in any one way (i.e. MB having 80-100 more hp than the next best car) but rather a good all around car that has a very talented driver.

Instead of fighting the rest McLaren could be fighting amongst themselves, is it the wrong pick of drivers at Woking.

Interesting poll on RN365 of who is the G O A T, Berger did say before that it was Senna and I've added my vote.
