I'm a lot better these days. I laugh it off. When we went to Staten Island and there was a guy... his eyes looked like they were about to pop out when he saw her ass. I kept doing impressions of him. Shit used to make me insecure but I hardly notice it these days. Thanks though guys. You're both right. It's about taking it as a compliment rather than an invasion. I love Indian and I'm having Navajo every night! |

As some may know from other threads, I put in a pool recently. It has in floor cleaners that are about 1.5" in diameter and pop up about and inch out of the floor to clean it. They work great and turn off about 6pm.
I was in the hot tub with a friends sister who was staying with me the other night, and it was cold out - like 40F and dropping. We were in opposite corners of the top enjoying several wines and the cool air. Then all hell broke loose. Seems the pool has freeze protection, and when it got below 35 it turned the water feature and gas fires on, and all of the pumps. Including the cleaning system. Well, guess what she and I were each sitting on? I feel violated |

Unfortunately the story behind it is pretty sad. About 2 weeks ago I took my friend for MRIs because of some leg pain she was having - turned out to have a massive brain tumor, and was rushed to ER. They operated successfully, but she had a stroke afterwards, so her recovery is slow. Her sister was staying with me while visiting.

So back in the day I used to be a gym freak. I'd be in there at least 5-6 days a week, lifting and boxing. My regular range was 6'4, and anywhere between 205-210 depending on how much I was drinking.
I wasn't the top guy at the gym, but definitely in the top 10 - plus the fact that I kickboxed got me respect from the meatheads. Anyway, the confession is that while I'd walk around the gym looking like a K1 killing machine, I'd have N'SYNC blasting in my headphones. I'd be training with real killers and I'd be blasting Rhythm Divine by Iglesias in my ears. I'd always laugh thinking what if my earbuds lost connection and some Backstreet Boys would blare our of my pocket in the middle of a sparing sesh. Context* I graduated high school in 2000. Also I've always been a lover not a fighter. |

You listen to Backstreet Boys while sparing? I wouldn't want to listen to anything while sparing. I want all senses focused on the guy in front of me trying to smash my face, not the boys in my earbuds trying to smash my ass. Negative appreciates to you for such a confession. That's exactly what I was thinking.....and found it funny that you were next person to reply. As I was reading his post I was thinking of you and RMTT. |

I'm doing ok, I believe I got it some time between the 19th and 23rd. The night of the 24th I had very minor chills, probably an added blanket would've helped lol. Been unable to smell/taste since that night though. So far so good, other than one night I haven't had any other symptoms. Done with my 10-day tomorrow.
Also something that is annoying is, I'm congested. At first me and my gf thought it was allergies (i was in a very dirty city that i havent been to since 7 years ago) bc I was congested and had dry eyes. Then the next day her dad commented on a smell in the streets and thats when I realized: it's gone Claritin helped with the congestion, so I've been taking that and a doctor friend said it's ok so I've been living with a regular cold, basically. Keep in mind i'm in my 20s with no known health problems before though |

"Forgive me Father, for I have sinned....
It has been 52 years since my last confession." What, what's that? OP is not a priest...? Never mind. Last edited by Littlebear; 12-05-2020 at 12:31 PM.. |

Found a job, getting a little under what I had in mind but with everything that's going on, can't complain. Does mean a niceish car is out the picture for a while though because I want to save up a bit in case stuff goes wrong before going out and splurging. |

Some people I knew that i thought were cool when I was younger are weird now. Credit card debt and but lookin fly. Heard from a friend they are in debt but they got new cars and LV Gucci everything. As I approach my early twenties im realizing that this isn't right and I remember working at Bmw. Talking with the sales dude. He said the Loaner cars became leased cars then CPO cars and they make hella bank with them. I remember when I was going to the GYM before covid in my home city, dudes i was class mates with saying they are leasing a 5 and 7 series. Is that Wise? LOLOLOL isnt buying a used E90 better.? Why do I think getting a integra or E90 is better than leasing a new luxury car for a young man.

Wish I was 275 and had muscular ears and toes to show for it. I think the big thing for me is the discipline. Exercising of my will.

I'd pay to see that!
Headphones come off #I don't care who you are as long as you love me# Images of hard men dropping weights... one killing machine even saying.. cool song man! You'd be surprised. I briefly worked in a prison providing group therapy/rehab and one massive muscular guy was a Belieber!! No one ever questioned his taste though. |

1. Those who lease because they would rather "rent" a car and pay every month for it instead of all the maintenance/things that could go wrong with it 2. Those who want to look like they own a car they can't afford It's usually pretty obvious which category someone falls into. |

I got married December 7, 1986, 34 years ago today. I took those vows seriously. Lasted 20 years. I should have bailed long before I did. Nice Italian Catholic school girl hung in there way too long. He passed away about 5 years ago.
