Hmm, for sure, but it seems like a no-brainer in terms of their 'dilemma'.

So they were a cult and there was no real threat of the world ending?

Enjoyed Knock At The Cabin more than I thought I would. First M. Night movie in a long time that was pretty good.

Watched "We Have a Ghost" last night.

It's not high brow cinema or anything, but definitely a fun watch with a few heartfelt moments.

This is what I always felt about The Walking Dead. That Rick was some allegory for "leading his people to the promised land." Because how else does someone in a coma "rise from the dead" after days/weeks with no food, water, or medical attention.

But I stopped watching at the beginning of Season 7, I think? When the bashed people's brains in the with barbed wire covered bat. Not that I have a problem with gratuitous violence in movies or TV shows, but the show had already become pretty repetitive and it was obvious that was done just for the shock factor.

The original from 1984 was very creepy. Who here remembers?
We'll see how this one stacks up...

I liked the first one. Thought the sequels sucked.

Very good movie. Saw it in the theater when I was 18. Yul Brynner kicks ass.

Love those two together in movies but trying to turn a basic story into a drama. Meh.

I think Signs was his last one where you can actually say was good.

He got big from Unbreakable and Sixth Sense, then Signs was strong too, then drop off with Lady in the Water and the Village, and perhaps his worst the Happening.

I think this is a pretty good summary of M. Night movies, though I did like "Split" and "Old" too.

Ditto, although I liked The Village a lot more than others, perhaps it was during the Bush Jr era and ppl didn't like getting the wool pulled over their eyes.
