So, ice with snow of any depth on top – my totally fave car control/enjoyment driving circumstance?

Saturday afternoon I remembered I need to pick up some medicine. Put my t-shirt on, jumped on my motorcycle, and drove over to pharmacy in shorts.
Today they are telling us thunderstorms, possible hail and tornadoes 2-4 inches of rain by Friday, so far .38 a mile from my house at the official weather station for the area. Rain wasn't supposed to arrive here until about 10. I left my felt hat on my door and walked across the street for coffee. Mistake on the hat, sudden pouring rain on the walk back. Now my bald head got all wet and my hair will be a mess all day long

No chance of a White Christmas here, either. Not that I'm complaining. I've had my fill of snow.

Although the airport is reporting light flurries, we have sunshine here but the windchill is brutal.
Half the staff have already started their travels so my Mum is helping out. We have no appointments just a few walk-ins mainly for flu shots. Tomorow, we close at noon and we will be on Christmas Holidays until the 2nd of January. |

EOC activated, we had 3.00 in one hour last night.
Around 0200, the wind was blowing hard enough to wake me up. I look out and all the trees are blowing east. I'm watching a bit, and suddenly everything is still. Then within about 45 seconds all the trees started bending west. Not sure I've even been in the eye before. Flower beds got full of water at work, then backed up into offices thru the foundation/walls. We are relocating people and equipment, seems nothing actually failed yet.

We got .40 inches so far. Another .25 coming our way. We were supposed to get ~2.00 inches. What a gyp.

A definite green Christmas but that's okay. Having a good time with Mum and my BF, mostly munching and drinking and watching a Hallmark movie.

It is warm here, especially compared to our historical averages at this time of year of 25°F low and 40°F high.
For me, I'd rather that it be colder and dry than warmer and wet.

Forecasted high today of 56 degrees F here in MInneapolis/St Paul. Will be flirting with a record high temp. Miss seeing snow but it’ll come eventually. Happy Holidays everyone.

It didn't break freezing here for a few days now, with not even a peek of sun. We had a winter weather advisory last night for sleet, which didn't stick. It just broke 40F here for today's high.
Meanwhile, at our SC tree farm, my remote weather station is reading 68F and sunny. On this date and time last year, we were having lunch beachside on A1A in Daytona Beach...with a biting wind and noontime temperature of only 37F.....
