I remember EKU 28 in Germany. Powerful stuff. Too strong tasting for my likes, though. I'll be interested to hear how the Sam Adams version tastes.

I was out earlier watching the local Santa's parade in minus 10°C. Made a glass of spiked egg nog when I got home to warm me up.

Santa gave me lots of candies. Apparently I was a very good girl this year.

I liked it...it was nice! It drank like a sherry tbh and as strong as it was it really didn't hit you like that. It was very very smooth, not hot at all.

Can't ever go wrong with Irish IMO. There is a bottle of Red Breast hiding in that picture that I haven't cracked yet. They always say Irish Whiskey tastes like shortbread cookies, so I am waiting to try it with a batch of those!
