My boss couldn't get his passport sorted out back in the day so he sent me to NOLA for a conference that was going while Mardi Gras was in full swing. I called him one night at 0300 to report in. I let him know that I was holding up the company end. He's was a good friend before he was my boss, we're still friends.

That Chevelle may as well have been a motel room with all that space. My first car was a '61 VW bug. The back seat was challenging to say the least. Sadly, the VW is long gone. But the girlfriend is still around 56 years later and married for 51. We occasionally talk about renting a vintage VW to take on a date like the old days; drive-in and all.

My mom's car (the Chevelle) was the first car I did it in.

My first car that I owned was a VW Bug too, as mentioned before here on the forum. Great first car.

I remember you said you had a VW. I had just forgotten. Maybe I need to move to the You know you're old thread!

That's okay... I forget things all the time.

But I do remember to have some fun every once in while.

Or at the very least it will shut off.

On second thought, I'm with you. The world would definitely be better off without those jerks around.

Let's be honest...........if you are self absorbed enough to do this - it's not the WORST thing you do. Clean the pool.

I believe that you meant to write that a trap door will open in the road and swallow up your car with you inside it. No reason to slow up traffic by making other drivers have to swerve around shrapnel, cause a traffic jam from the fire, or make people pull over to take the ultimate instagram selfie with the burned-out wreck as the driver's severed head rolls across the highway.

Can you tell that I've given this some thought?????
