Winning teams nowadays already are disadvantaged by getting less CFD and windtunnel time.
And all teams now have the same annual budget. So on that matter, F1 has become far more an equal chance sport. And you see that, that some teams skyrocket to the top whereas teams that in the past controlled the sport with mega mega budgets tumble down the ratings.
Look at what happend with MERC, the team that dominated the sport and had back then already annual budgets over half a billion (so virtually unlimited money). And where they are now, having the same budget as their customer teams, and having a really hard time battling them.

And every sport knows athletes/teams having dominant periods.
I don't see Federer getting a heavier racket, or Bolt getting lead poored in his shoes, or Phelps getting lead sinking weights in his speedo...
In the end, athletes and teams that are just better under the same circumstances, deserve to win.

I didn't see Kelly in Vegas . But Jos was there in front of the podium and he looked very proud of his son .
