The noontime temperature here was only 34F and cloudy, with virga on the radar. I'm waiting to see if we get any snow later this afternoon, and if it is mixed with rain.....

It's been raining steady here for at least 3 hours and going to continue into the overnight and into tomorrow. Right now we're hovering around 1-2C and slowly getting warmer overnight. Not expecting any ice locally. You guys a bit further north might see some ice though. Stay safe if you have to go out.

We had wet snow here late yesterday afternoon, which changed over to sleet and then a cold/heavy rain all night.

Down in SC at our tree farm, there was moderate/heavy rain yesterday afternoon and overnight, with temps holding in the mid-60's F. According to my lightning sensor down there, a thunderstorm just rolled through a few minutes ago. Glad that we didn't make any travel plans to go down there for the holiday weekend, because getting the almost mighty Freightliner stuck in the mud with sketchy cell coverage wouldn't be fun.....
