77°F with 36% humidity – we're definitely in heaven here!

Hope our east coasters are prepped for Lee to come and dump a bunch of rain. Sounds like it's been a wet few weeks with much more on the way.

One of the nicest days of 2023 here today. Low was 47 F, and the high was a refreshing 68 F.....

Right on top but so far no worse than one of our regular Nor'Easter. I brought-in all my flower pots and anything loose around the house was either stashed in the garage or shed.

A bit of a nothing burger over my area with no power outage. Can't say the same for other sections of the Maritimes. The system is out to sea for the most part and we are supposed to get sunshine this afternoon.

Lows in the upper 40's F and highs in the low-mid 70's F for the last few days. I turned off the central AC Friday evening, and have the windows open.....

Geez, WINTER IS COMING. It's barely 67, sunny. It was 57 when I woke at oh5:30. <looks longingly at his hoodie hanging on the door>

Even when we visited Chichen Itza they told us the pyramids line up on 9/21.
But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

We had clouds last night and today, with varying intensities of drizzle. Temps stayed in the low 60's F the entire time. Forecast is for sunny with low 70's F highs and low 50's F lows through the week and into next weekend.....

Our months-long drought has been broken only by a few brief showers, but now the forecast is for an "atmospheric river" to arrive by the weekend and stick around for a while. Bring it on, I say. Oh -- @LadyJane: Please cancel that shipment of water. Thanks!

My eastbound morning commute marked a Stonehenge-type milestone this morning. It was the first time since last spring that the sun was low enough to be below the roof at the top of my i3's windshield. Surely, fall is coming.
We've had sunny days with lows in the 40's F and highs just above 70 F all week. Last night's low was 43 F, and our central AC has been off for a few days now with the windows open. Forecast is for a few more clouds tomorrow, and then a cool/rainy weekend with Saturday's highs not expected to top 60 F. Beautiful weather for working on some weekend interior projects inside the almost-mighty Freightliner.....

Is it just me or is this way colder and gloomier for late summer in Ventura Co than usual? I know in oxnard, you have the marine layer, but still

I'm too lazy to dig up the FML thread right now. We have a roofing contractor doing a full replacement on Chez Vreihen starting this morning, and a freaking yet-to-be-named tropical storm just popped up off the mid-Atlantic coast with 1-3" of rain forecast here starting before sunrise tomorrow! I can't get out of the front door to check on their progress, but am hoping that they can finish it up this afternoon since we own a modestly-sized house.....
