Seriously though, pre-jym from Jim Stoppani. Used it for years.
Been using hydro-whey from optimum nutrition as a post workout. Whey isolate and concentrate tear my stomach up but hydro-whey seems to be better. Not cheap though. |

Not a fan of JYM products, over priced and over hyped. Thought this was funny when it first happened. https://www.leagle.com/decision/infdco20180131h91. A guy basically called Jim Stopanni out on his "clinically dosed" claims. |

I haven't seen much out there that can touch his blend though: Creatine Hydrochloride (HCl), 2 grams Beta-Alanine, 2 grams Betaine, 1.5 grams Taurine, 1 gram N-Acetyl L-Cysteine, 600mg Alpha-GPC, 300mg Citrulline Malate, 6 grams Beet Root Extract (Beta vulgaris L.), 500mg BCAAs, 6 grams (3g leucine, 1.5g isoleucine, 1.5g valine) L-Tyrosine, 1.5 grams Caffeine Anhydrous, 300mg Huperzine A, 50mcg I used some of the newer GNC pre workouts that were not bad. If you have any recommendations for newer pre-workouts, I am all ears (as long as it's not any of that "micro dosed" garbage). |

100% with you on the caffeine. 200mg is ideal for me. I have tried a couple pre-workouts with 400mg of caffeine and it was just absurd. I saw Layne Norton was making pre-workouts for a bit and he offered a caffeine free option which is a great idea. |

Yeah I wish companies would just stop jacking up the caffeine so much, never really understood the hype behind it. If you keep your intake is low then low doses have suitable affects. Obviously if you're like King Rudi and consume 700mgs+ a day then a low dosage will have minimal affects lol. I havent browsed pre-workout in a long while, just came across this which is a nice mix minus the "high" caffiene https://outworknutrition.com/products/pre-workout. But again at $2/serving it isn't for me haha. |

Usually pre-workout I put on my running shorts, shoes and take a dump before heading out the door. Sometimes a sip of water. Just eat healthy, none of this pre-processed junk for me.
I'm almost 43 and without too much effort do 40-42 minute 10k's. I'm too lazy to try hard. Although my 67 year old dad still does 50 min 10k's and he's got a pacemaker. |

Every day treadmill about 3miles at 5-6 km/h,then a mile walk with our small dog and when it gets warmer I'll dig out the mtb and ride a traffic free route.Pre-work out consists of usual relieving yourself and just moving arms and legs about to loosen up for a few minutes.

Coffee in the morning, and a stim-free pre-workout before training. Currently using RSP Pump Boost, it's definitely not as effective as the caffeine filled ones in terms of energy boost, but still gives a nice pump and recovery vs not taking anything.
