A 5 cylinder 525 HP engine made by Audi... this just oozes reliability all over.

Unlike the 1/2 Series screen, the screen in the A3 is retractable.

these are renderings.

its funny, the audi guys would say the reason they like it because of quattro.

here its RWD.

the rendering are closer to the RS line BTW - the grill, tailpipes etc.

this car is tiny just so you know, anyone expecting to drive with people in the back or kids older than 7 should consider this.

also - the S3 is going to be around 50K.

so expect an RS3 to be closer to 60 something.

the rings on the paint: that is something they do for big anniversary editions - again these are renderings.

so the question is would u drive this or a M2?

I'm 6'2" and can fit in the A3 behind myself. It's surprisingly roomy. Also the S3 is $42k, not $50k.

That thing looks pretty sick, Audi, don't change a thing looks wise, you'll screw it up...this design could perhaps make me at least contemplate my next purchase being an Audi RS3, maybe...

The "worrisome" thing is, for a concept, it's awefully complete, meaning, usually concept cars do not run.

I'm sure BMW is looking at this thing too. Hopefully they'll keep that in mind while they're developing the M2!

Audi RS3 with 5 cylinders? If yes, glad they are keeping it instead of going to 4 cylinders.

I saw this car in the flesh at the Wörthersee Audi stand last week. It looks basically identical to the renderings. IIRC, the rings on the rear doors were not in silver - they were stamped into the door itself.

Are you sure those are renderings? I think those are over-processed photos.
