How cheap are you?

I don't consider myself cheap, just careful with money. I don't live beyond my means, and I am an avid saver/invester because I want to retire at a decent age and still enjoy my life.

Well at least she's in it 100%. What I find amusing is people who claim to be broke, are extremely cheap in some aspects of their life but then spend tons of money on bs.

One of my favorite is Prius owners. Like my best friend who bought a Prius and now he's an MPG nazi. I refuse to talk to him about cars because it always goes back to the MPG. He paid like $40k for a Prius (don't ask me how the hell he managed that) but thinks he's being frugal because of the MPG. He kept it a couple years and traded it in for ANOTHER brand new Prius? Seriously? C'mon man, tell me you get a chubby for Priuses, fine, but don't give me the "I'm saving money" bs.

It's just disgusting seeing stuff like this. I stopped watching after seeing the bottle of water to wash herself off. I thought about it today and wondered if it's partly a cultural thing. In third world and developing countries, many people don't have the luxury of modern things so they get by doing everything they can with what they have. If she's been doing that for years I could understand how she would carry it on like that. It's still kinda over the top IMO.

Lmao these people have a disorder. I think they get a rise out of the concept of saving as much as possible even if the time and effort compared to the money saved is not worth it.

If they took the time and effort they dedicated to this behaviour and invested it into finding a better job, getting a promotion, working more overtime if possible, getting a second job, etc. their lives would be better off and their networth would be higher too.

I saw that, also. They ended up not allowing him to do the testicle operation, and I'm pretty sure because the look on the doctors face when he said he wanted to do it for the money...., was a look of complete shock.

I gotta give it to the guy though. He might be doing it for the money, but there are a lot of people that are going to benefit from it.
