1( you can use it for driving, but it is very nooby. It is in the sense of mario kart type gameplay, something your kids or elders can enjoy. All you do is steering I believe. It handles the braking and acceleration. 2) uses for head tracking, which is for hardcore players. It will help you look ahead and sounds awesome.

They have something like that head-tracking in GT5. I only used it once at a friend's house, but that whole concept is awesome.
There are some new "screen shots" out featuring the F10 M5.... that was fast lol.

Best Buy finally updated their website to show the Forza 4 Limited Collector's Edition. I do believe the LCE versions still qualify for the special car pre-order bonus, in Best Buy's case, thats the BMW 1M.

I don't like best buy very much, but I'm now forced to pre-order through them so I can get the 1M!

check out new steering wheel available for xbox
Get a Grip: New Forza Wheels Debuting at E3 June 8, 2011by BRIAN EKBERG Tags: One of the most exciting things about Forza Motorsport 4 is its variety. Whether you’re racing your favorite tuner around the high-speed corners of the Bernese Alps, or experiencing a brand new supercar in the Kinect-powered Autovista feature, there’s always something new waiting for you in Forza 4. Variety in Forza Motorsport 4 can be found not just in the huge number of cars, tracks, and features, but also in the different ways to control the game. Naturally you’ll be able to play with the standard Xbox controller, and you’ve heard a lot about how Forza 4 will harness the power of Kinect to deliver entirely new ways of experiencing cars. But we haven’t forgotten about those of you who like to put your hands on the wheel when turning laps on the track, so here’s a look at just a few of the upcoming wheel options that will be compatible with Forza 4. * ** Debuting today at E3 2011 in the Forza Motorsport 4 section of the Xbox booth are two new Forza Motorsport-branded wheel coming from Fanatec: the “Forza Motorsport CSR” and the “Forza Motorsport CSR Elite.” Both wheels are designed to offer an incredible driving experience for Forza Motorsport 4 fans. Here are a few highlights of both wheels: CSR:* Improved force feedback electronics and mechanics make the wheel stronger and faster Metal CSR shifter set and large metal paddle shifters make shifting gears easier than ever Lightweight aluminum wheel rim with Alcantara inserts allow faster, more responsive turns * CSR-Elite:* Wheel base fully made of metal with carbon fiber and Alcantara wheel rim DirectSensor™ technology with sensor mounted directly on the steering axis. This avoids all the interference and performance loss you get from the belt/gear drive found on traditional motor-mounted sensor systems Dual force feedback motors with 120Watt (silent big fan cooling) and very low cogging force to avoid “notchy” feeling Pricing, availability, and additional details for both the Forza Motorsport CSR and the CSR Elite will be announced later this year. While the CSR line of Fanatec wheels are meant for the serious racers in the Forza universe, we’ve got the more casual fans covered as well. Also arriving later this year is the upcoming “Wireless Speed Wheel” for Xbox 360. As the name implies, the Speed Wheel is a completely wireless controller designed for intuitive control and precise steering. The U-shaped design features standard controller buttons and haptic feedback with rumble. You don’t need Kinect to play with the Speed Wheel—it uses the same wireless signal as a standard Xbox wireless controller and is a good option for casual racers who value pure fun over setting lap records. The Wireless Speed Wheel will be available for $59.99 (U.S. ERP) and will ship to retailers worldwide beginning September 26, 2011. Finally you can also expect new wheels from Madcatz that will also be compatible with Forza 4, including a force-feedback model that will cost $230 and a less expensive option as well. Expect more details on all of these wheels in the coming weeks but for now you can checkout more images of all*these wheels on the Forza Mortorsport Facebook page.

I'm more interested in the cheaper ones from Madcats. I've already got a wheel for GT5 so I really don't want to buy a 2nd one. I'm already having to buy an XBOX for this game

Yeah that's what I'm going to get. When I run out of memory I'll just use extra flash drives for it. But still, I don't really need another one on a college budget.

Good wheel = Fanatec. They are making the official Forza 4 wheel as well. I actually just ordered a new wheel (http://www.fanatec.de/html/index.php?id=2302&lang=en) because I love my 911 Turbo S wheel so much.

What’s the status of Porsche in Forza Motorsport 4? This kills me. While Forza Motorsport 4 will feature RUF, it will not include Porsche cars. As many of you know, since the beginning of the Forza franchise, the Porsche license has been available only through a sub-licensing deal with EA. In Forza 3, we were able to feature more than 35 different Porsche models by offering to collaborate with EA. For Forza 4, we were looking forward to adding even more Porsche cars, and we were especially looking forward to featuring multiple Porsche experiences in our new Autovista mode. In the end, however, EA couldn’t see their way towards collaborating again. We’ve asked our contacts at EA to reconsider their position frequently and regularly over the last 18 months. We also reached out to various influential people in gaming to lobby on our behalf, and on your behalf, but that was to no avail. In our business, we stay friendly with all of the manufacturers and licensors necessary to deliver players rich and innovative automotive experiences. As you’d expect, this includes quite a few key people in Porsche circles. To make sure we tried everything, we consulted with these advocates and were happy to find they were already aware of the situation and lobbying from within on behalf of Forza 4--and, despite the result, we thank them for their efforts. While we respect EA’s need to run their business as they see fit, we’ve regularly collaborated in the past and hope we can find our way back to that approach. Forza had the exclusive license for all Ferrari cars, for example, on the Xbox and PC platforms. But at the end of the day, we’ve always found that we just weren’t willing to block other racing games from having Ferraris outright, as we believed that this would do nothing but hurt the racing ecosystem. I’m very sorry for all of this. Fans shouldn’t have to think about any of this – you should just be able to drive Porsches and Ferraris in the games you love. Porsche makes wonderful cars and I’m sorry that we won’t have them in Forza 4. As I mentioned earlier, we have added three RUF cars in Forza 4. RUF is a manufacturer in their own right, not simply an aftermarket mod shop—they completely remanufacture and enhance the models that they start from, and the results are unique, incredibly fast, and the cars look great. Losing more than 35 Porsche models is a lost opportunity for Porsche fans (as well as a lost opportunity to make future Porsche fans), but I hope that Forza 4 players understand and enjoy the new makes and models that have taken their place.

I couldn't be more pissed about this. I bought an XBOX specifically for the Forza franchise and they are the only games I own. Anything that takes away from my Forza experience kills me. Go to hell EA.
