Don't accuse me of being passive-aggressive, I'm aggresive-aggresive and proud of it. Hey, I didn't vote for him, but I want him, or someone else to win. All past winners know why. My message was more to the organizer and future organizers than to influence votes. For images, particularly wildlife or an image with lots of details, bigger is perceived as better. I sized my image to fit the contest, but I don't think that it shows as well at under 800px vs. 1024px and larger. I'm just saying, to the organizer, if you're going to set rules, then stick with them. The time to right-size would have been before voting started and it was evidently overlooked, so I say let's run with it through the end of this contest, but not forget it in future contests. Hopefully the next contest will generate more entries and a lot less discussion. Dave

hahaha
I know, I'm a stickler just about following rules in general. For some people its just harder to view anything bigger than 800px on smaller computer screens. Anyway, it's all Chewy's fault for allowing them so lets just him. |

So we're using golf rules here, right? Low score wins?

24 hr lightning round, only the tied photos (no matter how many are tied in lead), 1 vote per person. winner takes all.

I'm going to bed soon cuz I have an early meeting tomorrow morning. So, when I wake up, that'll be the final tally (unless someone here posts the final tally at midnight PST). I'll make a 24 hr lightning round if necessary.

haha, we'd still have a tie.
I would just like to point out to everyone who participates/votes. This is the whole situation we were worried about with single votes causing a tie, and better yet, we are sitting with a 3 way tie as we speak. I think multiple votes might have cleared this up a little better, but oh well. Just my 0.02c |

Really Dave? Thats bunk.
With only minutes to spare in the contest, dcstep took the lead... with the help of his own vote. |

Well... amidst all the controversy and debate... I declare UdubBadger the winner, with dcstep a close 2nd.
This poll thing is uber annoying, where you can't end it at a specific time, rather a specific number of days from now. Oh well. Seth, come up with a new theme for contest #32 by Saturday morning (earlier the better). Congrats!

Long live the king. Why don't we recycle a theme for the next contest? We've been outthinking ourselves lately. Dave

Fine, I already have a theme. But I really still think Inabis got jipped here.
I'll post the contest later today some time. |
