.... perhaps going to a dentist would be a better course of action.. Unless you are just searching for pills.

Go to a dentist, he'll probably fix it with no need of pain meds.

I have had some really bad haircuts. So I went to another barber. I didn't stop getting haircuts. What are you more afraid of? An infection spreading to the bone in your jaw that requires the removal of a significant amount of bone or a trip to the dentist. Being deformed toothless freak or an opportunity to get a little buzz off some nitrous? The choice is really clear. If you kill the pain now you will only be delaying the trip to the dentist you will have to take. Whether it be by way of Emergency room or under your own power. Be smart, grow up and go to the fucking dentist. |

Get yourself prescribed some Tylenol 3's. They metabolize into Morphine anyways.

Nice to know we have so many drug lovers out there. And "Drs" writing lots of prescriptions for "Vicodin" without even knowing how to SPELL it. It still amazes me to see so many people taking these types of drugs (opiates, etc.) and then getting behind the wheel......acting as if these are M&Ms are something....jeeez.

I was prescribed oxycodone (Percocet) when I tore a knee ligament. It felt good. Really good.
After the oxycodone was gone my orthopedist switched me to hydrocodone (vicodin/lortab). It worked but was not nearly as euphoric. It also made me a little nauseous when it started to wear off. Which was good, in my case, because it killed any desire I had to stay on it. If he'd kept me on oxycodone I probably would have gotten hooked. IIRC these are both Schedule 2 drugs and the government will come down on you with the hammer if you get caught abusing them. They will also fuck your hearing up if you use them habitually - see what happened to Rush Limbaugh. He was abusing Oxycontin, but the others have the same risk. |

Before he passed away a friend of mine had to take fentanyl to fight off the pain caused by his late stage cancer - it had spread to his spine. The pain was so severe at times that not even fentanyl was completely able to subdue it. That stuff is extremely strong and he would take a fairly high dosage during flare ups of his pain. Fentanyl is no joke, I can't believe that people use it recreationally.

other than the occassional antibiotic and acetaminophen, i've never used any kind of drugs ever. i'm 51. last year, i ended up with a staph infection in my elbow after returning from a trip to jamaica. into the hospital on sunday, and the doc prescribes percocet for pain. after a couple of days of IV antibiotics, i'm starting to heal up. after a couple of days of percocet, i'm having the most incredibly vivid dreams. vivid colors, vivid images, vivid interactions. percocet dreams rock.

I get them for multiple herniated disks in my back. Yes give a nice little buzz but I would gladly avoid them or anything else if something could permanently fix the pain in my back

There are no guarantees and I could end up worse than before. Im only 31 so Id like to hold off on that option until older. At this point its just core training, stretching, and lifting any heavy properly ie.. with the legs.
