LOL at some of you guys because I do the same thing. I like to piss off my wife and kids, especially when I had my Honda Civic sedan. I would put the window locks and act all serious. Then I would crack up as I watched them all fumble around trying to open the windows, but GOD FORBID one of them farted. LMAO

Either way, i just control my breath for that few pungent seconds and grab the freshner to spray it out.
haha reminds me of what I do sometimes....

When I let one rip I usually do some kind of reaction along the lines of this:

If they look like they aren't bothered or haven't noticed I go about my business... but if they start sniffing or hear it... I just ask em if they heard that duck just now and roll the window down to act like im trying to look out the window and find it haha

I don't let others fart in my car, but when I'm by myself and the top is down, why not. Its not like I'm shitting my pants. Worst situation is once I farted right before getting out of the car to fill up on gas (heh), and when I got back in I realized that I've created a trap for myself

I guess I am pretty old fashioned, I was taught it is rude to fart by oneself, so I always ask someone to pull my finger before I fart. In the car or not, it's just more civilized that way.

Glad I don't have cloth seats. Do you know how many farts cloth absorbs over the years?
