Having the whole car done definitely will give you some more piece of mind. Seems like at that price difference it wouldn't make sense to do just the front.

Here is a interesting question. If you spend the $5,000.00 or more on PPF and ceramic coating on your BMW and it's totaled would the insurance company cover that or is it considered a customer aftermarket installation?
Does this fall under:
Custom parts and equipment coverage (CPE) is an optional endorsement.

On our 2024 X5MC, we had PPF (XPel Stealth) on the front, and both rows of doors. We skipped the rea trunk and quarter panels. Seemed like a good balance.

I was parked under the side of a building with the rear third of my car sticking out when a window on the 3rd floor directly above my car exploded for no reason and the debris fell on the trunk. The broken glass cut right through the PPF and damaged the paint down to the primer.

This was a comprehensive claim and my insurance company covered not only the repair of the trunk’s paint finish but also paid for the removal and the installation of new PPF.

That price is the most expensive place you can find. Perhaps that includes correction and ceramic coat and interior ceramic and rims and tints. Then it’s just a little high not nuts.

If it’s a special car to you wrap it up all over. If it’s a Daily driver just the front and other bits you mentioned.

Are the skipped areas glossy and the stealth matte? If so please post pics. Never heard of that.

Our base paint was frozen gray. I can perceive no difference in color or surface texture.
