it seems like m3 owners are more friendly (or weird) than others.

I'm trying to determine how many points my IQ has dropped since I read that quote.
The only option in my car was a sport package aside from the metallic paint, and since I didn't get bent over on the other options I would feel more proud for getting the car for close to the base cost then I would if I had a fully loaded version of my car. I have always found it comical how people will brague about how much their car cost them when I'm just thinking in the back of my mind that they are an idiot. I guess if in actuality you are clearly living above your means then you will find the need to let everyone know how you are above them since you were able to pay X amount for your car, when someone who actually has the income to buy whatever car they want would most likely be proud of the fact that they saved when buying their car. BTW, the only "poser" is the idiot who is buying any car to impress someone. You should buy a car to enjoy the driving experience, not to make up for you being a tool bag.

Im not into having a very fast car like a 50k 335 or any type of M. I like going the speed limit or just a little over. However I do love how the car handles and looks. Thats why I bought a 30k BMW. Guess that makes me a poser.

This thread sucks. Last time I checked even base models get free service and maintenance just like the m5s and m6s. That alone could get a "poser" to purchase a base model. Could save a lot of money in the future. Oh well. I got my 335 new for under 50k, fully loaded, I guess I too would be considered a poser though.

i guess for us people in northern europe, a base model can cost way more then 50k - this questionary is flawed.
...Because if we had to make the poll ourselves, the benchmark would be around 100k usd which can make a lot of even M3s owners into losers over in US of A. So i suggest after buying your new shiny bimmer, buy a Perspective with whatever left.

I didn't custom order my car, so I got stuck with power and heated seats, and comfort access. The only options I wanted were leather and sports package; i think the latter automatically comes w/ power seats. The car came out to be a little over 50K after everything so I am obviously not a poser.
Some of my other friends are ballers though... they had their dad buy them their BMWs. One of them even has his dad pay for his apartment and his allowance, and he hasn't a job for half a year. |

I have leased / owned three bmw's to date and my favorite is the 135 coupe hands down. this car with the prem pkg, heated seats, leather, and sport pkg was no where near 50k. I think that who ever said that if your bmw is not 50k or more your a poser should be sent to nazi death camp! Thats one of the dumbest things I have ever read! He is the poser WTF! because I did not get nav and night vision Im a poser. Well take a bow douche nozzle, who eva you are go learn about bmw first.. They are driver cars first and formost the rest of the tech is nice but the real drivers want a car that is nice and comfy but does not have 300# of additional shite on it.
