- Black & Decker Dustbuster (thing is amazing, and bulletproof)
- Dyson DC14
- Dyson V6 Animal
Agree, and have a similar list.

- Rigid Shop Vac/Blower (for vehicles, garage duty, other duties that the household vac shouldn’t be used on)
- Dyson SV10 Animal (Hand-held, battery powered)
- Roomba 960 w/WiFi (downstairs duty)
- Kirby Sentria (bedrooms and upstairs duty)

The Rigid Shop Vac/Blower and Dyson both work well for the vehicles, with the proper attachments.

Going to look into the Ridgid guys, thanks for all your input.

In the mean time I will get a handheld Dirt Devil for the house as I can't defer that decision much longer and I'm resigned to the fact that I'll end up with multiple vacuum cleaners.

I have a rechargeable Black & Decker I've owned for several years. It has removable and washable filters. That thing is amazing! Powerful enough for sucking up all debris from my cars Mats and home carpet. But small and nimble enough for my 11yr old to use. I believe it was only $40. I would easily buy another!

I've got a Dyson V11. Works well in the car and is nicely portable being a handheld. Holds up well for the condo too (not more than an hour or 900 sq ft though) also depends on if you have a lot of carpet.

Dyson Animal all the way!

Loads of attachments that can pick up debris in just about every nook and cranny in your car. It's got a wall mount that charges and stores easily out of the way. It's got upholstery and crevice tools of various configuration. Soft bristle tool that won't scratch the black gloss plastic on your dashboard. It came with hard surface floor tool/carpet tool with a long extension. It's super light, good battery life and comes with 3 years warranty.
