...then heading to someone's house to play cards, smoke cigarettes, and play Street Fighter 2 on the Play Station 1 until sunrise. Head home to sleep until 2pm and then checking the pager to see what's going that night.

Always had the hangovers though they didn't seem to bother me nearly as much as they do now. The reflux is new though and I wouldn't miss it a bit if it just fucked right off.

We didn't know the importance of water back then. We used to finish the night with beer, now I down a shit ton of water plus an Advil before sleep. No hangovers.

Yeah I do the water thing too but not the Advil. It seems to work pretty well. Maybe I'll add the Advil and see how that works.

I remember being young & single in ATL w/a W-2 Salary. Only nights taken off from the bars were Mondays.
Still don't get hangovers at 32, no matter how hard I go (I can count on 1 hand the total times it's happened). I've always been lucky in that department

I was the opposite. When the street lights turned off, it was time to head to someone's home.

I'm 46 and dont get hangovers. I find as long as I drink Tito's or good wines I'm fine. I do get dehydrated though

That's me. I drink a few glasses of wine (a good zinfandel) on Friday nights and never get a hangover. And I usually drink enough to get a decent buzz. Saturday morning I feel just fine.

I was never a huge partier, so in some ways I kinda feel like I can't relate to that lifestyle. Maybe my parents were smarter than I thought by instilling a strong work ethic at such a young age. I was always hanging with friends working on our cars/riding dirt bikes. We did some dumb stuff, but were never out all night partying. I commuted to college and worked full-time, so the college social life was unfortunately something I missed out on as well.
I do remember one time I was working at Dunkin in high school, a friend and I had a bet for who could do more espresso shots. He did 10, I stopped after 9. That was the first night I went home and just laid in bed watching the sun come up until I had work the next morning. An odd feeling for sure, and I don't recommend it. We both thought we were going to die.

As I said, no more drinking like that for me. Too old and may not get up one day from it. Will stick to my wine. Next morning I'm up, happy and ready to face the day.
