What about the 94,000 people on his voter purge list back in 2000? Many of which shouldn't have been on it in the first place. He helped to rig a Presidential election for christ's sake. Maybe he's not a jackass, just anti- American.

I almost didn't graduate high school, because I was failling two of the required classes you need to pass in order to graduate. I actually studied for the exams and got an A in both, but my GPA still suffered because of the other grades. I ended up with a 3.6 GPA, which isn't bad, but because of the F's and D's my senior year, most of the colleges I applied to did not want me. I regret not trying my hardest in high school, but that's something I have to live with. You still have two years, work hard and you will be rewarded. You don't want to end up like me going to community college and just sitting on your ass all day.

P.S. Reggie Bush is the greatest Bush ever.
you're exactly like me right now.

I hope your not talking about fuckin chicks... plz tell me your not

back to the topic... im in the same boat as you. Im 17I'v been kicked out of two schools. I get good grades and people and teachers like me. If you talk about grades i get by (a's and b's) ... no where enough to earn getting a bmw, but who really can "earn" a bmw anyway(without paying for it on your own). I am pretty well behaved in school, i fool around sometimes but im also serious when i need to be. I just feel like im always doing something bad when i shouldnt be doing it and that causes me to get in trouble. (im not careful about hiding bad things i do)

Keep you car... get your rims. If your humble enough to admit that you may not deserve what you have. Thats admirable enough to almost give you a BMW anyway. Have fun with your car, its sick.... and for real, the ladies ull miss out on by getting rid of your car

But to answer the "young" mans question, you only live once, life is too short to stop and cry over spilled milk, do the best you can and move on w/ a different attitude towards your studies and your work. Worrying and wallowing in melancholy will do NOTHING for you. People freak out about school too much, it's a priority, but at the same time, so is life(meaning don't spread yourself thin).

And uh.... for all the Bush supporters out there, we've just found out that he had intellegence that the decision to go to war in Iraq was indeed flawed, but insists that it was the "right" thing to do? Hats off to him for murdering thousand upon thousands of innocent people, of all walks.

You need to get an English teacher for a tutor
if you want to pass the high school graduation written exam.

A person's grade is 85.4% based on poverty level....
poor economic background - grade
rich economic background - grade

mind boggling....but there is a correlation!

I'm about to order wheels..........
being 16 and dropping 3 grand on wheels like it was nothing is not a good way to learn about the value of money

Do you guys even know what the poverty level is? Do a bit of research to see what the income threshold is, and then see whether you're actually part of the 14.6% clique. Good example of poverty: single dad raising four kids off of welfare alone living in the projects. Not poverty: two kids with two parents in a house they own. Oh, *gasp*, one of the kids is stuck driving a BMW 325 (too impoverished to afford an 330).

But back to the topic, do as others have beseeched - study harder.

Lastly, a BS/BA is worth almost nothing today unless you're prodigal. Otherwise, I'd highly suggest specializing for a PhD.

Weather or not you deserve the cars is not important. Just because you have average grades does not make you any inferior than anyone else. You can live for today or think about today for the rest of your life. Enjoy this time while you can! Unless you are going into an ivy league school or somewhere that it is necessary to have the best grades, it is not all that important as long as you get a degree or do something that you really love. I was never a great student while in high school only because of the way it was instructed to me. There are those that need to see it and those that need to hear it. I cannot remember the two terms used, but you get my point. I'm not suggesting that you go out and party every night of the week, but have fun and find your purpose in life and do well in that aspect. A car is a car and it doesn't make who you are, but others may think otherwise. Do your very best and that's all anyone can ever ask of you.

Pete,

Go out and enjoy your car. Don't feel bad about your grades either. Obviously, your parents can afford a nice car for you and they feel you deserve it.

As far as your grades go, after you get into college, no one is ever going to ask you what your high school GPA was. And unless you go on to grad school, after you get your first job after college no one is going to ask you your GPA from college either. All through my academic career (Private High School, Private University, Private Grad School) I've had a solid 3.0 average (that's a B, for those unfamiliar with the GPA system). I work for the world's largest mutual fund company, and have a very well paying job. No one here has ever asked me what sort of grades I got.

That being said, try to raise that D.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about what others think or what others do, do you and do your absolute best. It's your life, you own it.
