Which tires do you have on your BMW?

I've had good experiences with Kumho, they are the brand used on the Viper and are inexpensive while being as good as the premium brands on the track. I'm currently using the stock pirellis on my car and have the tire insurance through BMW. They are certainly better than the stock all seasons on the loaner cars, but have a short tread life. Not sure what other tires I can use without voiding the tire warranty through BMW as you are supposed to use OEM tires.

I have 225/40 and 255/35 18 inch tires and feel they are better than the OEM size. These are the same sizes as the 335is...

It has a 500 tread wear. I've driven about 10k and my rear tires are down to 7/32. fronts at 9/32. I do like to stomp though

Conti Extremecontact DW. The car won't be used in the winter, so I was looking for a good dry/wet tires with emphasis on wet. Really liking these, however as I understand they are discontinued now... I believe the newest version is called Extremecontact Sport.

DWS06 is newest version all season tire.

theres plenty of summer tires

I agree on Kumho. I tried a set a long time ago when they were very unknown. Was very pleased with them. But then they started to gain in popularity and the prices crept up.

The fronts have way more room than the rears, but no rubbing on either. I am on the stock m-sport suspension, but know others on the BMW performance suspension run 225/40-18 and 255/35-18 rear. I typo'd earlier on my tire sizes.

On previous BMWs I've gone with staggered set up and expensive ultra summers. Very expensive way to go. I'm now into square setup with high performance all seasons. No regrets.

These go flats with DHP make the 328 a great ride.

If you don't need or want expensive, climb-walls grippy, tires that wear out too quickly, consider ditching your RFTs and going with this gem.

Probably the best budget tires.
They are 85-90% the performance of PSS for half the price.

That's what I heard too. Will be going with these next! Saw very good customer reviews and tirerack did a nice comparison with equivalent tires and it shined.

On 16 inch rims.......

One can definetly feel the difference between runflats and non runflats.....both sets are very good but for the amount of miles i do i feel like i would have been better off buying non rufnlats for summer aswell....

continental DWS06 on both cars. 20" staggered on the X5 and 19" square on the 535. Currently have close to 20K miles on the 20" set, down to about 8mm. Both sets seem to be holding up well and provide a much better ride (IMHO).

I don't currently plan to go back to the run-flats

Agree with everyone that mentioned the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires. I put them on for the winter last year and liked them so much I left them on when summer came.
