Sorry to hear about this. I hope you feel better and enjoy a new car. An e30 is just so different than what they have today and yours looked AMAZING.

+2. I was t-boned once by a 77-year old guy that ran a red light (insisting that the light had to be green, as he'd driven that road for 40 years and if he makes the previous light, he always makes that one). It was blatantly his fault, but his kids convinced him to sue me anyway, for $250k. Two years to get it settled (my insurance company gave them 5 grand to go away). The lawyer said that nowadays if you don't sue the other person, it's pretty much seen as an admission of guilt. |

Luis, that is such a drag man.....we risk so much every day just firing up the ignition....I'm glad you and the other family are okay! Your car however, man, that is a heartbreak for sure!! 4 years and 80,000 kms is a long time to be in love with any car, especially such a classic, which you clearly took great care of!
Freaky though, to see a car with no airbag, eh? How is your neck etc? Your new E92 will be one of the safest cars on the planet, nothing like the new technologies to keep us safe from other peoples' bad judgment! And btw, Car and Driver just opined in their latest issue in the article on hot street cars, that the 335i may be the all around best car on earth today!! Chin up!!

Damn...that car was super clean too. I don't see too many of those on the road as is.
I would also go see your lawyer to at least weight the options and make sure there are no underlying problems. After my last accident, I felt ok the day after and then had pain and found out I had two herniated disks in my neck. |
