what size are you? can't you buy shirts with neck and arm lengths? body would be "style" - slim, modern, etc.

I buy shirts from Theory and The Kooples - for me they have the best fit. About $225 a shirt.

For casual non-iron dress shirts, can't beat Merona at Target LOL. Seriously they are pretty damn good for $15.

Seriously, the Stafford collection at JCPenny. Instead of being 33/34, they have solid 33 so it fits better.

I was Target one day, saw a shirt that looked decent as a daily, felt it, put it on, and was wow'd.

I also love their joggers. I wear those out on the weekends all the time. They are amazing.

I have the exact opposite problem. Why are shirts made with sleeves too short? Anything that fits my waist/neck, and the sleeves are 3" too short. Guess my shoulders are just bigger than average. Part of being a mechanic.

Sleeves are usually too short for me.

I'm guessing everything else is short too op.

Yup.

Sleeveless dress shirts for maximum ventilation.

If you are not the typical fit, your best bet is to travel or go to the countries where the fit fits your body and buy stuff there.

Even among the same brands, the fit is different in different countries. You can shop at the Gap in the USA, in Europe and in Asia and they'll have different sizes and fits for the exact same styles. A Medium at the Gap in the USA is equal to a Large in some European countries is equal to a XL in Asia... And even then there's many variations in sleeve lengths and neck sizes among all this. They really try to aim for the "average" in each location.

A better bet is to get shirts custom tailored or find a particular brand/fit/country that works for you.
