I had theis same thought when I heard she was going to narrate. One of the most annoying women on the planet. They might as well have had Hillary Clinton narrate.

Bullfrog headbutt, FTW!! I kinda tuned out on Oprah's voice, it's just in the background in case I don't recognize the animals and want some info. Rest of the time my eyes take up all the brain power.

Thats was pretty epic. I had no idea they were so agressive!

Comodo dragon attacking a buffalo was pretty damn cool too.

OP...couldn't agree with you more...Oprah = FAIL narrating

These Disc programs are awesome, but I love the Planet Earth more than this Life program...great in any case.

+1 Bullfrogs are badass

Felt bad for the water buffalo vs. the komodo dragon. Poor guy. Slow, painful death.

Man all the kill scenes always make me feel bad for the preys. I mean you can't help but feel for them even though that's just life out there in the wild.

True dat...aren't you glad you're on top of the food chain instead of one of these guys, i.e. the dragons or the lions, etc..

Yeah for sure man. It's pretty funny though. Every time you see a chase scene (wolf chasing a goat for example) you get a little worked up/excited and root for the goat, the underdog. And then when it's made it to safety you breathe a sigh of relief.

We're really not at the top of the food chain. Face to face with many of these creatures and we become an afternoon snack. When I swim in the ocean I feel a few rungs lower...

THREE WEEKS following those komodos while they harrassed that buffalo. Take the teeth/poison out of their mouth, and I'd like to go a few rounds with a junior

In certain situations, yes we can be vulnerable..but reality is we kill/destroy/eat them all if we really wanted to

That's only due to technology. When it was sticks and stones we had a 50/50 shot when confronted by a bear or alike.

Completely agree OP, when I looked at the "info" on the guide and it said narrated by Oprah I knew I wouldn't be able to watch it.

I was right, I didnt last 5 seconds. She does not have a good voice for narrating something like that.

I was waiting to watch this show until I saw the commercial advertising Oprah as the narrator. Who the hell likes Oprah?
