Dig! That's awesome! Is this a new one? Looks fresh or least fresh in the pic.

Nah it's a year old or so. Just a fresh photo. A little filler piece on that sleeve you've seen with that American traditional illustrative portrait of my wife. I'll post up more photos later.

I got my two done many years ago, when I was training heavily in the martial arts. I still practice for fitness and to keep sharp, but my competition days are over, lol.

The one on my back was inspired by Akuma from Street Fighter. Was done in 4 hours/ 1 sitting. My tattoo artist was extremely dedicated in getting it done!

The small one on my left shoulder was done in about an hour. was my first tattoo I originally wanted in place of my back tat... but couldn't afford that when I decided to get it done.

My baby. Pre-memorial tattoo. I'll be wrecked for a decade when she finally passes on so I figured I'd get it while she's still alive!

I wish. It was on the top of my foot. Not a great location for a first tattoo.

Second one my brother and I got matching tattoos that have meaning to us.

Awesome! I love family/matching/coordinating tattoos.

Top of the foot for your first tattoo?!?!?! Might as well have just decided on getting a rib panel.

Now now now, a 10-20 minute top of foot tattoo has little in common with a 24 hour rib panel, trust me

Good lookin pix btw!

I doubt there is any way I could find the artist who did mine. But since there are some on here, may I ask?

1) Can the color be freshened up.

2) If yes, would you consider someone who walked in, and doing said touch-up on somebody else's work?

I remember at teh time, the artist told me as he was doing the hair, that he was doing such fine work it was something along the lines of "Making friends and spending more time than needed" Wait, did I avoid/miss an "opportunity"? I had been divorced for about a year by then.

Quite a few, but not as many as Jack, the tattooist. The year...1975. The occasion...partying the middle weekend of Army National Guard summer camp. The cost...$6.
A bit faded now...but then, I've faded a bit too.

Yes, the color can be touched up, in most cases completely redone. Re-work is a very common thing.

Call, make an appointment to have the artist look at what you have, in person and be on time. Walk-ins are great on a slow day.....a good artist should be booked well in advance. If you find an artist that can do a walk-in; find another artist.

As for the time, we tend to get caught up in pieces sometimes. Sometimes we like the client and are enjoying the conversation. Sometimes the girl is cute and flirting. I wish I could say the customer is being a prick and if we take a little longer in a painful area, sometimes it makes us chuckle a bit on the inside.....but that wouldn't professional. I've heard other artists grind people intentionally because the customer was a dick. Personally, if they were an ass, I wanted to hurry and get them out of the chair ASAP.

I didn't really mean just a walk-in, I'd want to schedule something.

My question though, if I'm not going to stay out of the sun, should I even bother?

I also have wanted for 21 years to get my son's initials, probably over my heart. I have worked on my own to develop the right font, but just can't get to something I really like enough to put it on the skin. I'd probably have to do something on the downlow too, the spousal unit is NOT a fan. The Circle was in place before we met.
