please tell me the axel is broken on this car and that the car has fallen onto the floor due to it...and that's why it looks like this.

Rest assure, now of these cars will be going across the Mecum Auto Auction stage any time in the future.
We all put money in our cars which we would never get it back out. But these guys put all kinds of money into something that will just end up in the car crusher. |

It could be worse... You could take, arguably one of the worst cars ever made, and make it even more terrible...

Money doesn't equal 'Good' It's a lot of money to spend to make your car look cheap, but if he's happy, so be it. Based on his License plate, I guess he's one of those wanna-be efamous forum/car meet jockies, complete with a hardcore guy groupies. Pass. |

I would be willing to bet that his car has gotten him business. Without a doubt. Because we do the same thing. We build a Mclaren as a project car, and we have people with Ford Focuses calling for stuff just because they like the car. As long as something is eye catching, you'll have people paying attention to it.

Don't understand why anyone does what amounts to tacking on aluminum siding onto their car and thinks it looks good.
The funny thing is this isn't new. It's just a progression of the more is better mentality. Saw this with the stupid wrong offset wheels which had the cars looking like real life Matchbox cars, to the super slammed suspensions where the owners were too cheap to get the right springs and just cut coils out, to the "ground effects" and clothes drying rear wings that just produced more drag than any aerodynamic/downforce benefits. Today's fad is just an evolution of the previous all show and no go. Too bad there isn't more people out there building sleeper cars. I had one a while back that looked benign from the outside but would shock you when I put my foot in it. |
