Is that behavior stupid? Yes. Is his car junk? Not to him it isn't. And I would think that anyone who loves cars wouldn't just say that Mustangs are junk. I do realize that there are 15 y.o.'s on the forum who have never had anything short of a new BMW so they classify everyone else's rides as stupid. But I've seen 3 Series as well as AMGs do the same thing.

BMW douchebags are usually younger guys from my experience, not all of course. I hate when people ask me what I drive. I feel like when I say a BMW everyone is thinking "oh watch out big shot". Hate that feeling. Anyway, the older men and women who drive them look at it as any other car that takes them from point A to point B. I look at it as a little more than that because this is the car I've wanted since I was a kid (this is a personal feeling). But superior? Hardly. Lol. If you do feel superior wait until a Ferrari pulls up next to you at a light one day and leaves you in a cloud of smoke. Haha

Hmmm ... I would say that BMWs are superior to at least 90% of the cars out there. Otherwise, why did you buy one?

I guess I would refrase your point to "Nothing more annoying than BMW drivers thinking their cars make THEM superior." With that I can agree 100%.
Hit the nail on the head right there. I am actually thinking of Mustang GT next year
to treat my holier than thou "I drive a BMW and every other car is shit" complex myself!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, if you have to buy something or knock someone's else's possessions to make yourself feel superior, then a very miserable and difficult life lies ahead of you kiddies. Listen to the 'old men' on this board, they might just save your life

I was actually serious about the Mustang part, as I grew up driving an old '88 Saleen stang which always holds a special place in my heart I will never forget. I was laughing about treating my complex. Enjoy whatever you drive, and I am sorry, actually, no, I am NOT sorry, for hijacking the OPs thread. The car and park job isn't the stupid thing here, if you catch my drift.

So if you don't believe the product is superior why would you spend a premium to drive it? Doesn't make sense.

Who said anything about spending a premium? I don't know about you man, but mine fell off the back of a truck. You didn't hear any of that though, are we clear?

I didn't mean superior as BMWs are the best or expensive cars in the world. I always took it as the best value (performance/price ratio). Note that performance to me is ride quality/handling/power. I bought my car for same price as a v6 XLE Camry- which I used to own. For the same price, my bmw is superior to the camry. Of course I would rather have a Ferrari, but the value is not there-also I can't afford it.

I think its the nature of owning an automobile to want to view your model car as superior to other types. That's part of what car makers try to sell you with their cars: a sense of superiority over competing vehicles. Camaro and Mustang owners have been going back and forth with each other for 40+ years. Dodge was trying to sell their car as superior against the Corvette when they were making the Viper.

I don't think there's anything wrong with acknowledging your car as "superior" to other types. No matter what anyone says, people buy a certain product because we feel it is in some way better than other products. You have a problem when you start thinking that your car makes YOU superior to other people or when you start looking down on other people solely because of what they drive.

The funniest part is it's always people with the V6 that park like that. Buddy with the Cobra doesn't.

Makes you wonder how many times he gets key'd avoiding door dings.....

I agree with you but, enough with the life lesson, this is a BMW forum and its made to discuss issues, problems, and even share a little laugh now and again.

Put down the chalk and step away from the black board, I get it you are a better person then me, because unfortunately I laugh and put down other peoples things with something catches my attention (ie douchebag parking in a Mustang or Vette or what have you) never to there faces and never to other people, but this kind of stuff my friend is human nature.

I can agree with you brother, I think we've all been there. Nothing wrong with a thought that may be negative and possibly bring harm to someone or their property I suppose, so long as it doesn't move us to action. Nobody is perfect, myself included.
