heres an article with IGN and GT5 creator Kasunori Yamauchi. he says they are shooting for a march 2010 release in japan and an american release soon after.

Oooooohhhh, it says in that IGN article that they are working on getting the The Stig's fast laps on the Top Gear test track into the game in some fashion. Right on!!!

Being that I am the Stig, I shall find it fun to compete against myself in GT5

I have the logitec G25 wheel, and I like it a lot. It has a 6sp gearbox and functioning clutch pedal. Works great.

Some say, that the PS3 is his real world, and if he's to launch GT5, real cars would've come out from the TV screen.

I remember with GT1/GT2 and GT3 they went through the trouble of actually putting mic's inside the engine bays of some if not all the cars to reproduce the actual engine sound for each car!! These guys are definitely perfectionists, they could just release the game but NOOOOO

Hey Guys, GT5 is coming to the US on November 2nd! Very excited as Forza has reached the end of line with me. Iam very glad that it is this year.

my friend was at the Playstation 3 E3 press conference and said the crowd went wild when they saw the Top Gear test track. I cant wait to play that track. I wanna beat Simon Cowel's time >

Looks like im gonna have to save up for a ps3 and a wheel controller for this game.....cant wait.

since it said test track, im gonna assume the TG track will be your home track where you practice and see the improvement of the mods you made

lets hope the resonably priced car is available for play, so we can race against Simon

As a long time GT loyalist, I'll take the release date with a grain of salt, especially with how easy it would be for them to take a few weeks to iron things out and to finally release it just in time for the holidays, but I'm glad we've got something to hang onto from closer to the horse's mouth.

Looks great; can't wait.
