Don't worry ikheetleon, it was just a weekend test with AWS launch templates and spot instances. Got to the point where it was just a few clicks to add another host (and even less using a script). My first spot instances died after a few hours so I started several but they stayed alive all weekend so I needed to start terminating them myself. Going back to just my own hardware.

I haven't posted about this in a while, but the computers controlled by the small team here have been busy along with thousands of others all this time. The Rosetta@Home team just published some results and brief video about it. Worth a watch, this isn't BS, it's impactful work. It's never too late to join.
