the ones plug into wall and devices plug into UPS box?

i have one of those at my office, plug into wall and everything else is hooked up to it. gives you few minutes to save your work etc.

no standby generator?

That wasn't the problem. For some unknown reason the camera stopped recording before the accident took place.

I think it's a conspiracy. "They" remotely disabled your cameras to prevent any record of the event.

There will be some fall guy with a clean record who had a "brake failure" and minor injuries while the person of interest remains anonymous. No charges will be filed.
