Yup, gonna watch that and there's also a TV movie starring I think Treat Williams?

Had started with "Reacher" season 1, seems to be mild amusement.

Not sure if mentioned before but F is for Family is brilliant, only show in 10 years to make me laugh, last one was early Family Guy.

The dad trying s hard to not lose his shit but the pressure and constant fuck ups by the kids mean he eventually succumbs to blowing a gasket.

That's because Bill Burr is awesome.

We are going to see him live in September.

We saw him this past Saturday. He is so fucking funny. Hopefully you don’t have strong feelings one way or the other about abortion.

I've never heard a joke that offended me, I have better things to do. We saw Mark Normand this past Friday, and he definitely doesn't stray from "controversial" material.

I think in the past two years we have seen:

Dave Attell, Pablo Francisco, Nick Offerman, Bert Kreischer (2x), Brian Regan, Mark Normand (2x), Jim Jefferies and it seems like 1-2 more (and of course all the openers and featured acts that go along with those).

Then we have tickets for Burr in September and Segura in October.

I was eyeballing Segura tickets last night, but haven't bought them yet. We were out of town last year when Bill Burr and Sebastian Maniscalco were nearby and missed them. Glad we caught Burr this time around.

The dad also verbalises things you wish you could say to your kids, i mean ya don't 'cos you'd crush them but fuck me if i don't want to say "for fuck's sake son, can you grow a fucking pair ya fucking giblet, you'll be fine, walk it off".

Instead i do the whole concerned parent thing but by the 10th incident of the day where he has fucked up or needed help when he shouldn't or whatever, i am definitely biting my tongue.

I'm watching Lincoln Lawyer and it's ok. I'm on episode 5. My wife likes it more than I do.

For those who fancy The Wire, you should check out We Own This City. It's obvious David Simon and George Pelecanos are involved in this series. Very good so far.

Did you watch Inventing Anna? Julia Garner, Ruth in Ozark, plays Anna. Rumor has it they filmed both shows overlapping so Ruth had to become Anna and back to Ruth. Remarkable.

I was wondering about that since the latest Ozark season came out shortly after Inventing Anna came out (or around the same time).

I plan to start that show tomorrow night while working overnight. Is it pretty good?

I got a kick out of it. It's not Ozark or Breaking Bad but it is entertaining. The wild part is that it is based on a true story. I can't imagine....

Finally knocked out Ozark S4:E9. We've been pacing ourselves on this one with all the reports that it's the last season.

I suspect I'll go back in a year or so and binge the the thing all the way through like I have with Breaking Bad. I think I've watched through Breaking Bad 5x now? I had to do it once with my old roommate before I moved to OKC about 5.5 years ago. And then with my fiance.

Then kick back over to BCS. I'm just going to wait for all the episodes to be on Netflix and go back and binge it. I think I'm only through the 3rd season, maybe the 4th. Can't remember.

I didn't like it at first. Julia Garner's accent was so weird that I just thought it was horrible acting. It didn't sound like anything, just a contrived jumble of accents. Then, I read an article about the real Anna. She had a very unusual accent. It turns out that Julia Garner figured out a way to mimic that horrible accent. That's called great acting to me. I started watching it again and couldn't stop.

If you watch it, please think of Ruth in Ozark from time to time. It's hard to believe it's the same actress.

Enjoy!

i blinked and now Black Mirror is done with season 5. I've gone to just browsing thru the episodes and finding something that tickles my fancy. Last night was Arkangel where the kid gets a device inserted, and mom has a table t to monitor. Well, once the daughter becomes a teen, things get "messy" Was a good waste of 45 minutes before bed.
