LOL. I'm well aware.

Most of car shots are hand held. Long exposures are all tripod. Being able to crop without too much quality loss is bae.

It's funny, have you heard of H2Oi, the east coast Ocean City MD car event? silvergray545 has seen lots of my rolling shots, my 70-200mm f/4 IS USM is actually ridiculously accurate even during dusk hours, good thing I didn't splurge the extra $1500 on the f/2.8. Doesn't mean I don't want it, though.

Nighttime long exposure I don't even bother handheld; unless it's greater than f/2.8 for still subjects and high shutter speed. Used to be able to handhold 3.5 before I started lifting weights.

I have and I've seen some of your stuff, I think.

Always wanted to do rolling shots, but can't find anyone who can drive while I shot...

Do have any stabilization, like in body or optical?

All my lenses are optically stabilized. Body isn't dat fancy, but I've got a surprisingly steady hand. My L glass telephoto has two modes, specific for sports and stills, but I rarely take it off of the default setting. And I shoot wide open for everything. The lens is that good.

Oh P.S. BTW you two I deleted my IG so if you're looking for me I'm not there. Taking a break from social media posting for a bit.

I'm always stuck being the driver for my local BMW friends when we do rolling shots since I can put my roof down. I recently got shots of my own car finally though.

I would love to! I actually like all of your cars. Lol.

Yeah, this time it is for real though. I'm tired of the saturation. Plus since no one knows I've ordered the car, I don't want it to pop up accidentally on someone else's feed and hurt people's feelings before I want them to be hurt.

At the time of purchase, they were. About $2500 between them both.

Attached to a measly 1100D camera body, which by itself costs less than half of the cheaper of those two lenses.

Haha, thanks man. It's one thing that I noticed almost immediately. My shots were rarely blurry. But you know IS can only help so much, it's like someone just taking protein powder without working out. Tools without application/talent are useless.

And yeah, partly. :-/

Photographics with pro gear is a real expensive hobby. But definitely worth it.
