Yep. Back in 1994 I think it was. I was riding back into Boston at 2:30am with a few friends on Rt 93 and we got pulled over. We were doing 15 over the speed limit. It was cold night and were on our way back from the Cape. I didn't have a motorcycle drivers license, but when I showed them my Tufts Dental School ID they gave me a break. My friends and I had a good laugh after.

Soooooo...there's this guy I know, actually a really cool guy who has a few of sports cars. The only thing is that he lives in the deep south and the redneck pick up truck population loves to tailgate sports cars. My, um friend, is thinking about installing some 1,000,000 or so candlepower LEDs in the back of these cars to, um...discourage?, the tailgating. You can even get them with remote controls he tells me...

Thoughts? (For my friend, of course.)

I have a "friend" who's considered installing some of these lights on his vehicles both front and back. I'd suggest that if your friend chose to do it that he not get caught using them on the road to discourage bad behaviour is all.

And if your "friend" got caught he'd probably want to have a good reason for having them installed in the first place. Like he has a long dark driveway and needs them for backing out and avoiding hazards.....sorry, I didn't realize they were turned on officer.

Guilty, your honor. It all started on a family vacation to Yellowstone when I was a kid. I threw half of my shitty bologna sandwich out the car window to a grizzly bear. Your "friend" sounds like a stand up guy. I was thinking maybe tell him to mount some sharks with frickin' laser beams pointed out the back.

Agreed, we were literally forbidden from engaging in pursuit of a motorcycle. Back in the day when I first came on the job we used to and in almost always went bad for the guy on the bike.

I was in a pursuit with a group of criminals that were nicknamed the "Bump and Rob Bandits" in the early 90's. They had a Lincoln Town Car, OMFG I almost bought one after this pursuit. It was fast and handled well but the beating it took was unbelievable. The pursuit lasted almost an hour and during the chase there were literally dozens of MVC's and this thing just kept going. I felt bad for the OPP guy that had to do the paperwork for all the MVC's on the 401 Hwy.
