My first car was a 1992 Nissan Maxima. When that died in 2004, I got my dad's hand-me-down 2000 Dodge Durango. In 2006 just before graduating from college, I sold it and leased a 2006 Nissan Maxima.
I bought my '98 M3 the following spring but continued to lease Nissans since I drive a lot for work: an '08 Sentra followed by a '10 Altima (to be replaced next week by my 328 ) |

Learned to drive in my grandpa's WWII Willys Jeep and MB Unimog. Then was given a hand me down soon as I got my drivers license which was a 1975 Toyota Corona GT "Macho Machine" in Avocado Green. Moved to Europe right after college and got me a 2000 Land Rover Defender Td5 in British Racing Green. Then followed a 2003 Honda Accord Euro R CL7 in British Racing Green. A friend who's into competitive drifting sold me his custom early 80's Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno "Drifter" in Apple Green. Here in the USA, I drive a BMW 335i coupe and an X5.

Hahaha. I grew up around vehicles in "Military Green" hence my affinity for the color. Today both my Bimmers are in black color. If BMW made the vehicles I have now in "British Racing Green", it may well be the color of my vehicles today.

I used to be fussy about steering feel and feeback, so I had a Mazda3 (previous gen) that had loads of feel in its hydraulic steering.
Then one day drove an E90, and got hooked to the steering feel. Ended up buying an E90 335i. Now I have moved on from being fussy about steering feel to appreciating handling and balanced feel of the car overall, and now drive an F30.

Born and bred to love Infiniti. Low maintenance, a good deal, fun to drive, and lots of fun features... until I drove a BMW. Hooked.

Let's see if I can get this list right...including my first junk-mobile purchased with all the money I had in June of 1987 (16th birthday...we did not have money, I lived in Michigan and folk my age mostly bought rusted out crap-mobiles and drove the last bit of life out of them):
1974 Chevy Malibu 1976 Buick Regal 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 1980 Chevy Malibu (this was the first one that lasted for a while...got me through a couple of years of college) 1980 Pontiac Phoenix (my last American car) 1980 Subaru DL Wagon-thingy 1985 Nissan 200SX 1983 Toyota Celica GT-S 1994 Honda Civic DX (my first car that I paid payments on) 1995 Acura Integra GS-R (Gods I loved this car...) 2002 Acura RSX-S (first lease!) 2006 Acura RSX-S (longest ownership...7.5 years. A brilliant example of what can actually be done with FWD NA 4-cyl) 2010 BMW 328i X-Drive (shortest ownership of any car I paid payments on...it and I did not get along) 2013 BMW 328i X-Drive (3 weeks in...it's not perfect, but I adore it) |

A decent track record thus far I think! Probably going to be liquidating my S62b50 swap stuff until I get room to actually take the car out of storage and work on it. |
