Love the way you display your images, Ed. Do you print them or do you have them printed up somewhere? Are they paper or canvas or metal or all of the above?

Taken today with the 5D MkIII and 400 5.6 + 1.4x TC III. AF is snappy and accurate. Not the best selection of AF points at f8, though.

Thanks Mark. They are all on paper, I have printed about half of them myself with a large format HP photo printer, but I got tired of spending a hundred bucks on ink all the time, so recently I have just been using Costco with pretty good results. I want to print some really big prints soon, and I will tune up and use my printer for that operation.

Nice Cardinal too!

I wish we had some colorful ones like that Mark. The closest I've ever seen is a Cedar Waxwing. Shots like that make me think of the 400. Nice good shot among all those twigs.

Merry Christmas, all.

Wifey and I will never be mistaken for skilled chefs, but this week we bought a dutch oven and a 4lb chuck roast and made pot roast. It was a joint effort and it came out awesome. Then Wifey whipped up some roasted potatoes that were to die for. All in all a great Christmas feast, if I do say so. This was shot after we feasted. We'll be having leftovers for a while, I think.

Looks great to me. Simple fare is best.

Forgive the rather shoddy photography here. The cocktail in the picture is not the first one I had had last night. I make these every Christmas Eve. Stuffed mushrooms with prosciutto, bread crumbs, shallots and goat cheese. I make a big pan of these to keep people happy while my ham cooks.

Love stuffed 'srooms and even though my doctor expressly forbids me to eat ham, I eat it whenever I get the chance (which isn't often).

I hear you and feel your pain. This past week has not been good for me and the things I am not supposed to eat. I am sure I will get an earful from my doc next month when he looks at my labs

Nice.

Love Trader Joe's. Sadly, the nearest one is 2 hours away.

Why top blade? (Never heard of that cut, but I'm a noob when it comes to buying meat.)

^^^Nice one, DC. Isn't unusual to have no snow on the ground out there this time of year?
