Ha! I love a good roast. I'm a surprisingly good fellow to drop a beer or three with, i swear a lot but a good time will be had.

Re. original Dexter, I am a pragmatist at heart and to me, he was boxed in, had no choice. In fact, the ending to the second series shows, he was right to do what he did at the end of the first!

The ending to New Blood was clearly a reaction to the poor feedback to the ending of the original series. SO they went right up the middle and did a stereotype ending to please people and they still complain.

I liked it, never understood the hate for it.

Definitely one the most watchable Netflix originals, if not the most.

In other good news Better Call Saul season 6 will air on April 18th!!
Similar to Ozark Season 4, this final season of BCS will be split into 2 parts (total of 13 episodes).

Call me weird but I think I may have enjoyed this series more than BB. At the very least it was (has been) just as good IMHO.

Yeah that's fucking weird. It's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ww.

Still, better than most of the garbage available right now so will take it. Seems like it has been forever since the last season.

Don't mind the female lead at all, fine actor, just......fine.

It's not about the "action", it's acting. Well done if you ask me. This series is especially good if you watched BB of course. You can see a much deeper dive into the characters which of course includes Saul aka Jimmy McGill.

I love how it sheds light on the Salamanca family in particular.

You're a Kim Wexler fan I see.

Whew, good to know

I started a new thread so we can discuss freely w/o fear of spoiling.

Kind of like The Shield.

I didn't mind the ending to Dexter. There's certainly been worse.

You're NOT weird at all. Imo Vince honed his craft even better if that's possible and it's better than BB. The writing is just tight and precise. No filler, just incredible. Fargo was good also but fizzled out big time. Ozark is still up there, The Boys, wow, awesome. However, this is the best show right now bar none.

I'd have to disagree, the writing is on pt. Nothing is wasted, the plot progresses like 2 chessmasters going at it in a big tournament match, it's so methodical. BB had some filler episodes and really annoying/illogical characters (idiot Jesse is up there). We're gonna be in for a real treat this final season for sure.

Ya, Kim is FINE.

To be fair, that series came out all the way back in 2004. TV choices and quality on the most part have improved. It was also released on ABC network and not a $$ streaming channel like everything nowadays.

But yeah, Lost sucked balls in the last season or so. I could live with it until that point, though admittedly it got a bit whacky and disjointed.

I just remembered a hilarious sitcom that was a parody of Lost called "Wrecked". I recommend this. It aired on TBS network down here in the US and ran 3 seasons. I thought it was really entertaining.
