First day of spring and we're 4C (39F) and sunny. Supposed to hit 11C (51F) this week, hopefully erasing what is left of the snow.

I’m in NorCal and it’s been raining since last night. Stopped for a bit and picked back up in the last hour. Hopefully we’ll be done with rain for the next month (have a PEC LA in a few weeks and hoping for dry weather lol).

Supposed to start again soon and then stop tomorrow around 7 or 8pm. Then more coming Thursday at 5am. Then the following Thursday we’re getting more. Yay. Been pumping out my backyard all morning.

Following Thursday is showing only like 50%. I hope any future rain over the next couple of months is similar, isolated, light. I'm over it!

Oh dang. Didn’t realize the rain will continue into tomorrow. After this I’m good if it stops raining. Put out some grass and flower seeds in the last few weekends to catch the rain. I’m thinking we have enough water for them to grow. Lol

Need things to start drying up now. Agreed on saving rain for the next Winter.

This last storm brought about 3" to my 5 gallon buckets. Dry now until next Tues/Wed. We are at 24" for the season, and our well has come up 20' since November. Still, only 50 so far today.

In the very near future I hope to take advantage of an invite to go tour the local diversion dam that puts water into our settling grounds. I can't make it to the full day tour that includes some lake dams and actually walking the settling grounds, but maybe future opportunity will arise.

Twin Cities, MN weather continues to persist on the cold side. Average high temp for March is supposed to be 42, but we have seen several days in the 20's, and even colder. 40's in the forecast the next few days and no snow so maybe we are turning a corner.
