Honeymoon periods usually die down with a lot of relationships. Some people are highly sexual with crazy libidos, others want it once a day, some only want it once a week. Nothing is normal, per se, but a decline definitely happens as people grow comfortable with the state of their relationship.

If it is such a severe mismatch after time, then don't put up with it and move on. There are women that dare I say, enjoy sex, even after being committed for a while.

I think this tends to be the norm. The initial rush and attraction, those first few lusty months, that's a big turn-on for women and contributes to a heightened sex drive in the beginning. Once the novelty wears off, it will settle back to the usual (which varies by woman). Men usually have a consistently high sex drive regardless.

Not saying that all women want to have sex once a month and all men want it once a minute, but the above will have an impact.

Sad but true. Naturally we are mismatched in this so when guys at their late thirties stop humping everything in their minds, we women hit 30 and we act like teenage boys. I can actually remember times when every second thought in my mind wasn't sex and I've even used the old "I'm tired" excuse when I was younger.

It's kind of ironic that one of the best ways to spice up a sex life between married people which is lacking frequency, is to schedule regular sex appointments. (with your spouse, Ax)

Take away the pressure of one or the other initiating sex and or being responsible for getting someone in the mood, makes it much easier to get into it.
