As a life long hawks fan, when will you learn to pass judgement starting the second half of the games?!

I swear this is the worst year for the NFL. So many teams are so weak and just look horrible. You don't have to give the pats another SB win. Seriously I care so little this year everyone just seems meh.

The Chiefs literally have one of the worst defenses in the league. I am at work and can't look them up but they must be in the Top 5 worst defenses for 2019.

My Chargers suck! We have a very bad football team. I lost confidence in Rivers as pocket passers are a dying breed. They need to put Tyrod Taylor in as he gives us the mobile QB that most teams have nowadays who can extend the play when everyone is covered

I dunno people have said running QB's are the future for over a decade and it never pans out for them Mike Vick/Cam/Kaep like players ever win the Super Bowl?

I would rather a pocket passer. Less injury risk. Better when they age. Think Brees/Brady. Big Ben was more mobile when he was younger...but I don't think you can be that mobile/scrambler and expect to have a long successful career. At some point they go to pocket passing because they have to because of their age. Still a weapon. Look at Luck he quit before he was 30 because of the injuries.

Lions get absolutely screwed by Goodell's Goon Squad. Worst officiating this year since the replacement refs. It's becoming unwatchable. Goodell is such a piece of shit.

I'm always the first one to shit on Detroit, being a miserable fan of this putrid franchise and all.

However I am just speechless after the officiating tonight. We truly got hosed. This organization gets screwed by the refs more than any other.

How does a team even recover from that? They cost themselves the tie against AZ, but both their losses were such nail biters. They got totally shat on by the refs just now. 2-2-1 is all they have to show for a hard fought season.

There were horrible calls on both sides of the ball. Detroit's "touchdown" that never broke the plane. And then the Packer touchdown that should have been down at the one. A Packer receiver being tackled and no PI call. Followed by the "illegal hands to the face" that weren't.

In the end, only scoring field goals usually won't win you a game.

I will say this, I don't necessarily think that the refs abilities have gotten worse over the last 30 years. I think a majority of the issue has arose with all of the slow motion replay in high def making everyone an expert.

Another example of "what's a pass interference call?" this year. Constant what they call "hand fighting" that would have been blatant interference in years past isn't called. It's getting to be like "what's a catch?"

Yeah, that one pass out into the flat, the RB caught the ball and then lost it while transferring to his other hand in preparation for a straight-arm to the defender. He took 3 freaking steps before losing the handle on the ball.


All these missed opportunities definitely could have effected my earnings last night in the pool . . .

The Rams win now strategy building their team through free agency and trades is interesting considering they're not doing too much winning. You cannot build a sustainable competitor playing free agency. That's loser ball. You build a perennial performer via good old fashioned scouting, responsible salary cap management, drafting and engaging in transactions that unload players one year early instead one year too late.
