Hi OT,

My Jeep got totaled yesterday. Will update with pics.

Guy in a minivan wasn't paying attention, didn't see a truck in front of him stop, swerved right to avoid hitting him, hopped the curb, lost control, completely took out my neighbors front porch, and would have taken out my porch too had my poor little XJ not been parked in the driveway. It was pinned between the van and my porch, smashed in on both sides. Dude hit it hard.

Time to call the insurance company.

Yeah, it's a real shame. He was really nice, but his wife/gf seemed like a bitch. My working theory is that she yanked the wheel on him.

That minivan took the hit like a champ though, all it had was a busted headlight and paint scraped off the hood. Didn't leak a drop of fluid, bumper wasn't even cracked.

It really did. If it would have been 2-3 feet further right, it would have taken out both posts and that balcony was coming down. It was already sagging about 6 inches from the one side being gone.

We put some of the foundation blocks sorta back in place and got my bottle jack out and got it secured temporarily.
