You probably missed it, but he got a white RHD e93 M3 that I think he intends to use as the donor engine.

I am not a hater. I couldn't care less about his show-business. The guy is an amateur mechanic who is interested in making a profit. It's money for him. Buy cheap - upsell - move on to the next project.

And frankly, nothing wrong with it.

What I said comes down to the fact I do not like the way he is working on his projects and I do not find his channel entertaining. The same applies to the other guy, the English with the tattoos who buys wrecked, written off cars and repairs them

That's all. No conspiracy. No hard feelings. Enjoy your cars any way you want, even in Sreten's way

Perhaps you should consider a crowfunding initiative to help your friend find the money for the ignition coils...

Ah, but that's the thing. You do care. If you didn't, you wouldn't be here. The opposite of liking something isn't hating something, it's ambivalence. The fact that you chose to enter this thread at all tells me that on some level you do care. The question is, why (I think I know why..).

Just watched and….Wow! Better than new. The classic Alpina wheels and the brand new black paint is soooo nice! Can’t wait to hear how much he spent on this project in the next episode!

Never a fan is spacers but they work really well with this car.

It is an amazing project and I imagine Sreten is going to be sad but relieved it has been sold. I wonder if Alpina and/or BMW Classic buy it for the collection.

Good question! I would be intrigued to know this too!

I doubt it to be honest, I'm sure BMW and Alpina both have at least one tucked away somewhere. If Alpina does buy it from him, I can promise you they'll replace the block just to get that "H1" stamping back on it. I'm going to be sad to see the B7 series end, it's been my favorite thing to watch on TV period, nevermind youtube. Just for fun this weekend I watched the first episode ever of project Chicago and then followed it up with this last one, it's hard to believe it's the same car.

$40k all in?

I think that's a good guess.

I’m thinking with his connections, 30K if his own money to make this perfect specimen. Hopefully he’ll get his money back.

I think it's higher than that. I'm going to guess 51,000 European shillings.

I discovered his channel a few months ago. Big fan. Now I just clean everything all the time. I cleaned the wheel wells on Sunday with a scrub brush. He would have nodded in approval.

If I had an e60 m5 I would sell that B7 as well. I think it's cursed.

Sweet new vid. Now I'm gonna run off and channel my inner Sreten and go start my e82's suspension overhaul.
