For the most part we don't get anywhere near the thermal limits on brakes until we go with real racing tires.
Old school bleeding too. There's a trick when bleeding...Take a deadblow and tap the caliper after everything runs clear, some minute bubbles will pop up.

PM me if you need advice. I term'd one in my industry in less than one week. A world record. We are so risk averse that it typically takes 6 months to a year and about 100,000 emails between HR, Legal, and the management team.

In this case, the owners would make the final call. This employee has been the one that has taken our services international so I understand the hesitation.

You were the only one that told me to go through with it. All of OT was like noooooo she's engaged, don't do it.

You're a good man.

My stock system isn't so stock anymore. I'm running Performance Friction 08 pads, Motul RBF 600 fluid, braided stainless steel lines and I have the brass caliper bushings for the front and rear that I haven't installed yet. Tires are Nitto NT-01s.

I figured if I was going to replace a caliper, might as well go big. Although, I do have spare calipers in the garage. I think they need to be rebuilt though. Might just put those up for sale.

I use a pressure bleeder. Seems to work pretty well. I'll use a deadblow next time I bleed the brakes. Which will be this weekend, hopefully.

Will do. We're trying to figure out how soon we can get someone ready to travel international before we term this guy.

RBF600...you use on the street or track only? If I'm recalling correctly, it's notoriously hygroscopic. I'm lazy and not that great I driver so I use ATE200 all year round.

Man...she's engaged? I've messed with married but engaged...

Yep. It is hygroscopic. I run it on the street and track. It's relatively fresh. I did a flush back in October.

I'm running RBF600 in the GLI. Haven't had any issues. I'm probably going to go back to normal stuff since I don't track that anymore.

Engaged, married...same shit. If she's a hoe, she's a hoe. A title isn't going to change that.

Uhh... sad to say I don't know for sure. Was a "warm start" - I didn't check what mode it was in (the wife was going somewhere). Was probably in Sport+, that's usually what she drives it in. Not positive though... cuz I fail.

And wtf was that? Do I need to make a video showing you how to rev an ///M?

You are correct, grasshopper. It's time to go big or go home. What are you thinking...360mm or 380mm?

I can't do a 380mm kit. I need to be able to run an 18" wheel/tire set up. Mainly because I have 8 Nitto NT-01s in 275/35/18.

Stoptech makes a 355mm kit with either 6 pot or 4 pot calipers. Get a 6 pot front and then get a 4 pot rear? Or get a 4 pot front and keep the stock rear? Would 4 pot front and rear give me a goofy brake bias? Hmm...need to research.
