We could have a final with Ottawa vs Nashville.

Don't count out the Oilers...the absolutely dismantled the Ducks last game and have always made games of the games they lost. They are a serious contender too.

Oh well good for the Sens, part of me thinks they can't hang with the Pens or the Caps for the ECF...but everyone has been writing them off all postseason. |

Many Canadian fans would assume this could never happen with Bettman at the wheel. This would be huge losses for the NHL in US viewership, and it's only a couple bad reviews away from being avoided.

Ahhh- contraire. At a bar, watching this '0-0 after 1' game. When you won it the previous year, you become less anxious. Whatever happens, happens. If we lose...it sure wouldn't be because we outplayed the Caps.
Think this will break out here in the 2nd. |

As a 36 year old life long Caps fan who moved to California 7 years ago, I would like to apologize to my 8 year old son, who had by default been a Caps fan his whole life. I am sorry, I have failed you as a parent.

Can't see Ottawa beating the Pens...looks like they are getting a second trip, dammit.

Congratulations Pittsburgh Penguins on the massive win over Washington Capitals. I think they played like they should and clinched a victory. Whatever a groundbreaking boubceback it was considering a devastating loss at last game. It was a skilful play performed by the visitors.
Marc Andre Fleury also registered a shut out at the 7th game of the series saving 29 shots. He was a first to ever get that stuff and it would no be at the rightest time more than that because of status of that particular game. At 3rd period of the Pittsburgh Penguins power play namely first half of it was a text book job, they sieged Washington Capitals, not only did they send a couple of shots, they also played a very efficient pass game but it was like cake without an icing on the ice: scoring a goal. Well Done Pittsburgh Penguins Washington Capitals 0-2 Pittsburgh Penguins, series ended 4-3 in favor of Pittsburgh Penguins New York Rangers didn't cut it, it was not the Rangers that defeated Ottawa Senators twice at home

Other notes... Anaheim overcomes their game 7 demons...2-1 over Edmonton. Gibson (cough, cough, Pittsburgh boy) played pretty damn good. Last edited by ShopVac; 05-11-2017 at 09:55 AM.. |

Pens just wanted it more. Third period they just played lights out while we just gave up.
I'd say clean house, but the Caps don't even have any picks until the fourth round. Glad that Shattenkirk pick up was worth it..... Fuck me man. |
