I know GT3 transferred to GT4, but GT4P didnt transfer to GT4. Yes, there was a GT4P as well, just wasnt released in the US.

GT5P isnt really a full GT game. But I guess we will find out tomorrow. I hope it does, I have a crap load of cars on there, all of them in fact

the prologue section on gran turismos official site says progress and cars will transfer. fingers crossed, got over a mil and every car.

Fedex just dropped off GT5 Collectors edition. 6 min to install complete.

I will do a running commentary.

HINT: It is less that 20 minutes to install if you have a new slim, has to do mostly with HD speeds. Oh and you can cancel it midway if it is too boring.

The Keychain is a bit mediocre, the GT-R Model is good (as Kyosho's are) and the book is extremely well written, with an eye to the entire car world instead of the game itself. I.E: They heavily feature cars that are not included in the game.

Now 2 Minutes left (this wait is more horrible that the few months before it).

I can confirm that Prologue wont transfer into GT:5 and only 50 cars are allowed from GT PSP.

Before the race you should see three+ boxes at the bottom. Look for the driving options box and click on it and you should be able to figure it out from there.

After playing F1 2010 for a while the driving in the beginning of GT5 just feels slow.

But oddly more fun. Great game. Can't wait to try the F1 part of it and the Karting!

Question, tell me there's a way to adjust aperture, because most of these user-created GT5 photos have waaay too much on this forum. When it's burring out half the car, it's too excessive.

well, pissed for two reasons.

1. You can't transfer prologue money or vehicles to GT5. Probably some cheap marketing gimmick to get people to buy prologue... pricks.

2. My gamestop voucher for the McLaren F1 isn't working. Don't know if this is Sony's problem or Gamestop's. Gonna hit up gamestop tmw to see if I can get one that works.

So far game is lots of fun and I haven't even started toying with high HP machines.

Pissed off about number 1. Played that game on and off for nearly 2 1/2 years.

About the second, hope you get it. The reward cars are very good.

So GT5 + 3d = amazing.

3d in tv and movies I feel is a bit of a gimmick but when applied to a game the immersion just seems to work better.

So is anyone finding a Fanatec setup for a decent price?

I only can find it on their own website and just the wheel is over 2 hundred. Then you got to buy the peddals and a stand.

I am also concerned about the GT5 recommended wheel because it doesn't attach well to the table.

Thoughts?

1. Thats been known for awhile. The cars from the PSP version, however, does transfer over. Sucks about Prologue.

2. Call Gamestop's 1-800# and they will give you a new code. There was a problem with the codes that they gave out if you tried using them immediately. Its said that if you waited a couple days, you should be good.
