Lose "Like you used to." Change up the verbiage with "now I can." "Now I can split wood for 6 hours." Problem solved.

Nice catch! What is that? I haven't been out fishing in years.

White Sea Bass. 31 lbs. TWICE around the boat, then finally landed it at the stern, having hooked up at the bow. I was really afraid, especially on that second trip around, that somebody wasn't going to get out of the way and snap off my fish. Deck hands did an excellent job, and actually cut several other angler lines to keep me hooked up.

14 landed, 21 anglers. We went only to catch WSB.

The last time that I went out ocean fishing on a party boat, I snagged a 20-foot-long piece of old rubber hose. I actually made the crew drag it onto the deck, measure/weigh it, and left the boat with the pool money for the largest catch of the day...because New Jersey.

Hey, rules are rules.....

Yeah, rays and sharks are specifically out of the pool, but I don't know that they ever considered inanimate objects

When you remember you could have get a Subway franchise for 15K (45K for McDonald's at the same time).

Also, they cut their bread with a V shape wedge on the top.

Nice! I’ve caught a lot of fish in my day, most normal size. I did have a blue fish kick my ass. Also went twice around the boat. The underside of my forearms were bruised from him running out the line and bringing my arms down on the rail after ever reel in and pull up. It was 20 something pounds. The most fun was a 38 pound bull dolphin (Mahi Mahi before you flipper fans freak) and a 4’ blue shark.

Same, was designated honorary roller with friends. Hated doing it, but everyone else sucked so it was out of necessity.
