Gasol and Odom did not play that terrible. They just had a lack of ball touches. If Kobe has to take matters in his own hands it means the game is already over. Derek Fisher needs to handle the ball more. They just can't expect Kobe to do everything. These games are really draining Kobe's energy. He is playing big minutes and getting very little rest. He also has to get back on defense to guard Rondo and Allen.
This series is more exciting than I thought. Celtics play better on the road than at home. They have more road wins than home wins in the regular season and in the post season. As each game progresses in the series it seem as if Celtics are playing better and better every game. I would expect the Lakers to bounce back in Game 6 but with how Celtics are playing right now it will be very difficult. Only 6 teams in the history of the NBA finals has won the championship while trailing 3-2. Quote:
I've asked before but you never responded. Do you even own any BMW? I wish I had 15k post also then I can fit into the "COOL" members list. If OT counted as post you probably be close to 100k post. Seem like 90% of your post count are in OT. ROFL I am fine with the top 10 shittiest user on the forum. But you can sit at #1 and i'll kindly sit at #2. |

Uhmm Gasol and Odom played terrible. Odom hardly had any effort. Guess what, it's not about touches, it's about defense. Gasol had plenty of touches in the first half. The whole team did not produce, so Kobe took over. Ever since Game 3, Gasol has been pushed out further and further on the block. Instead of catching it 10 feet or less away from the rim, he's now at 16+ feet from the rim.
BTW, did you see Nate Robinson's half court shot? Odom was just walking off the court before time ended. Way to contest Lamar.

Odom is fucking pathetic in this series. It IS about defense but it's also about converting shots.
Gasol had touches but he couldn't get his usually-money 18 footer to fall. Kobe took over and we all know that in a series with a team like Boston, that's playing amazing basketball, one man cannot win the damn title by himself! Artest is truly the most disappointing player in this series, he just doesn't know what the hell is going on. We have to play solid defense, get offensive rebounds (2nd chance points keep killing us game after game - Artest, Odom, Bynum, Pau - rebound the f-ing ball, hustle and play hard for it. Don't just sit arond and stare at the ball when 2 Celtics are already in the air ready to grab it and muscle you out! F-ing morons. We gotta step it, play hard, foul hard, play like we want to win this thing. Otherwise this series is OVER.

Blaming it on the refs is weak. They didn't let Pierce go off, the Lakers did. Just like they didn't let Kobe get 19 in the 3rd, Boston did. If LA had the heart Boston does, this series would've been over on Sunday. Thats why Kobe went off in the locker room, he's sick of it.
