We went to a different beer store on our last trip north (Walmart!), and got three beers recently mentioned here:
Elysian Space Dust (8.2) Fullers Scotch Ale (8.5) Bells Two-Hearted IPA (?) All great. The Space dust had tiny bubbles like champagne; The Fuller had real scotch taste & wasn't too sweet, and I forget what the Bells was like.... Murf Last edited by Littlebear; 04-26-2021 at 05:36 AM.. |

Dogfish Head 90 is probably the only IPA I like
Probably one of the few IPA I dont like lol Been on AllDayIPA recently, jumped off fruit/haze kick and now shooting for more piney. and 4.5% is really nice compared to most...not the best ever, but decent taste from a low price/low ABV. (I get a 15 pack here for $17) |

Do you drink beer?
A woman asks a man - "do you drink beer?"
Man: Yeah. Woman: How many beers a day? Man: Usually about 3. Woman: How much do you pay per beer? Man: $5.00, including the tip. Woman: And how long have you been drinking? Man: About 20 years, I suppose. Woman: So a beer costs $5 and you have 3 beers a day which puts your spending each month at $450. In one year, it would be approximately $5400 …correct? Man: Correct. Woman: If in 1 year you spend $5400, not accounting for inflation, the past 20 years puts your spending at $108,000, correct? Man: Correct. Woman: Do you know that if you didn't drink so much beer, that money could have been put in a step-up interest savings account and after accounting for compound interest for the past 20 years, you could have now bought a Ferrari? Man: Do you drink beer? Woman: No. Man: What color is your Ferrari?

I served 13 months in Germany while in the US Army and acquired a taste for German beer - 25 cents a bottle at the EM Club. The beer bottle had porcelain flip tops with red rubber gaskets.
Anyway, we got quite a few chuckles when a new guy would start chugging German beer like Bud Light. Next thing you know, the dude is on the floor. Heh!

I served 13 months in Germany; 8 months in Hanau (Francois Kaserne) and 5 months in Babenhausen. I thought I would be in Germany for 2.5 years, but I got orders for Vietnam. Good bye German beer!

This for me as well.
Although years ago when I lived in Seattle there was a beer called Mac and jack's African Amber. You could only get it on tap in Washington state. Now I see they have limited edition can releases but still doesn't look like I can get it in Boston. Wonder if it even tastes as good to me now all these years later.... |

https://www.totalwine.com/spirits/vo...ka/p/218632750 Goes with anything since it's vodka, but I recommend ginger beer (and some lime). Gosling's diet ginger beer in particular since it's sugar-free.
